Admissions Process
We’re pleased to have your child join Guardian Angels Catholic School (GACS). We are an inter-parochial school of the diocese of St. Petersburg.
Guardian Angels Catholic School is a student-centered institution for K through 8th grade. We combine faith-based learning and academic excellence into everyday learning. We welcome your family into our distinctive learning environment.
Step 1 - Inquiry & Parent Tour
It is best to begin the admissions process by clicking here to fill out your information and arrange a tour.
Step 2 - Completed Application File
A checklist is provided to assist with documentation needed with each student application. Students must be of age for each grade by September 1 of the year of enrollment.
Step 3 - Student Visit
Students in grades 1-8 can visit for half a school day. 8:00-12:00. Kindergarten students visit from 8:00-9:15.
Step 4 - Admission Testing
Academic placement testing will be completed as needed. Applicants will be assessed for developmental readiness in Math and Language Arts through diagnostic testing. This Diagnostic will take place when the child visits for the half day shadow.
Step 5 - Acceptance Letters
Letters of acceptance for new students to Guardian Angels will be sent upon completion of the application process and the release of records. This process usually takes one to three weeks.
Admissions decisions are based on the availability of space and strength of the match between the child and the school. Late and mid-year applications will be considered as space allows.
